This series consists of the remnants of a ledger which shows the daily balance of checking accounts the State Treasurer maintained at several Ala. banks, including the W.R. Rison Banking Co. of Huntsville and the Merchants' Bank of Mobile, Ala. The ledger shows the date, the total amount of checks drawn, the amount of deposits, the balance, and the name of each bank. Each bank account has its own ledger sheet.
